Vin de pays Chardonnay

Ce cépage de l'est se comporte très bien en Val de Loire. Il est principalement utilisé pour l'élaboration de Crémant de Loire et Saumur mousseux.
Nous en vinifions une petite partie en blanc sec. La parcelle est située dans le clos des greffiers. Elle a un petit rendement et est toujours riche en sucre. Il accompagnera les poissons et crustacés.

This grape variety from the east of France grows happily in the Loire Valley. It is mainly used to produce Cremant de Loire and other Saumur sparkling wines. We also make a small quantity of dry white wine from it, and the grapes for this come from one particular parcel of land, the "Clos des Greffiers". This gives a small, high-quality harvest wich always has a high sugar content. It deals with fish and shelfish.
