Terroir: Clay-gravel soil over schist
Winemaking: Hand-harvested grapes. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out in barrels, followed by 18 months of ageing in barrels.
Residual sugars: 210 g/litre 2024 coteau du layon.
Tasting notes: An intense and elegant sweet wine, marked by notes of quince. A full-bodied, round and rich palate with candied fruit.
Food pairings: As an aperitif, with foie gras or blue cheeses.
Serving temperature: 10-12°C
Ageing potential: 20 years
